1. Ephesians 5:24-26 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word… This Scripture tells us that we are to be “just as Christ” was. Discuss with your spouse what it means to you to be like Christ.
2. How are you doing in being Christ like? Take a few moments and describe to your spouse what areas you think you could become more like Christ in.
3. Forgiveness is a big part of being like Christ. Colossians 3:12-13 God loves you and has chosen you as his own special people. So be gentle, kind, humble, meek, and patient. Put up with each other, and forgive anyone who does you wrong, just as Christ has forgiven you. If there is anything that you feel you need forgiveness for, ask for forgiveness. If there is anything that you feel you need to forgive, extend that forgiveness.
